A person wishing to become a member submits the following application to the board:
"I, the undersigned, request to become a member of the Israeli Jazz Council association and declare that I have read the association's objectives and bylaws, that they are known to me and accepted by me. If accepted as a member, I undertake to abide by the bylaws and the decisions of the general assembly."
